A work in Progress

i apologize for the crappy image quality. my scanner dulls my images down alot.
This is watercolor without the color pencil.
An im not sure if you can see it, but this is water color with color pencil lines.

my scanner seems to dull things down alot so i up the contrast which is making my piece look more high contrast than it is.anyways this is the final that im working on but im not sure how if i should use the color pencil to outline the figures.

Hey Hannah!

Your second sketch (w/ the colored pencil) is incredible! It looks amazing. So much better than black line. SO MUCH BETTER. I really hope the bottom one isn't your final cause the girl looks pretty shabby in comparrison to the sketch above it. I think you should go with the colored pencil, and make it look as good as it does in the second one down. You'll have a great piece on your hands.

I don't really know if this is constructive or not as it has sort of already been said, but the colored pencil here really allows you to keep a fairy tale type softness that is oh so appropriat while solidifying the form. Hooray! It's true that bottom sketch isn't as pretty as the others that I've seen for this, but I've no doubt that you'll make a very dreamy final, as that's what you do best.
