1930s travel

These are the outfits/pieces I've gotten so far. Just to note, Comcast sucks royally and the reason I didn't get this up by 9 is because they fucked up something in my building again. Anyway. I want each of these to be in a train station setting and I'm thinking browns, maroons, cream colors and some gold colors perhaps. I'd like to stay loose with the line work as in the sketches and to stick with ink wash/watercolor for the finishes.

Great! I love what you have so far. I would have liked to see more time put into the environmental sketches but I get the idea. Godd compositions. Good details on the clothes.

Also, anyone who bothers to read everyone elses posts (and you all should be) can use Andreas sketches as a modle for the minimum amount of work that I consider as good sketches for presentation. "godd compositions". I type goofy.

this is a great concept! what kinds of backgrounds are thinking about? i'm seeing trains, older automobiles. they have some really great textures. i'm a little concerned that you might overwork your backgrounds, judging by the loose way you're using your color in these sketches... make sure you keep the focus on your clothes. give us enough information that we know the setting, but not so much we get lost.
